I absolutely love this time of year!
I spent most of my day sketching, designing and draping some fabric on "peppa" my mannequin :)

More time!! More time!!

"More time", is what she yelled out at me as I sauntered by her cramped office. "Peppa, I need more tome, I cannot possibly get tis done by "5 p.m., that is ludacris"!  i smiledand reminded her, "if you stop taking a smoke break every 10mins you will get it all done and thensome way before the deadline."

He said YES!!

A Canadian designer (his clothing is phenomenal, scintillating evening wear, fabu career clothing and thensome) whom I modeled for years ago and was his muse for several seasons has said yes to collaborate with me, "I just love that word", I can't say who, however, all I can say is that, IT WILL BE DYNAMITE and it's not JJ Walker, since when was he a fashion designer? Lol

Many thanks hun, for saying yes!  Outside of a marriage proposal, this is the most awesome news!!

To Collaborate or Not to Collaborate

A Collaboration with a designer has been on the very forefront of my mind to create a line exclusively for Penelope Peppa.  But, who, which awesome Canadian Designer will do such for such a nobody as myself?  Hmmm, I may have to dig into my old book of the past when I was part of the industry and see if anyone remembers a tall, slim model selling their clothing for them in the best way possible ;)

Nada Yousif, Fahsion Designer

It's a good thing to peruse through your who is FOLLOWING you on Twitter
So, I'm going through the list and I stumble upon a beautiful young lady named Nada Yousif, Fashion Designer (No, fashion Designer is not her last name) it's her profession and I have to say I adored and loved what I saw.

*Will be keeping an eye on this local talent*

It is said that a journey begins with a single step.  Well, that's a very, very, VERY good thing.  Because, my feet are blistered and bewildered from all the walking, running and jumping over hurdles.  But, in time the fruits of  my  intensive labor will be shown.
