Manners Matters

In the Caribbean, it's a norm that when you see someone most of the times even before you can get the words out, it's already been said to you, "Good morning, good afternoon, good evening," etc.  I have noticed that in North America, it's as though people are afraid to say any type of greeting to another for fear of what, I have no idea.

Come on people it's not a weird thing to be kind and say a simple, "good morning" or whatever the case maybe.  I've noticed that when I do, the looks on some peoples faces are totally priceless, it's as if they have never had good morning or whatever said to them.
